Welcome to the website of Theosis Resources.

Theosis is the ancient Greek word for "deification" or "divinization" that Eastern and Western Christianity has always acknowledged to be the full flowering of the spiritual life. St. Peter challenged the early disciples to become "partakers of the divine nature." (2 Peter 1:3-4)  St. Athanasius, one of the greatest of the church fathers, asserted that "God became man, in order that man might become god."

In order to respond to this call to divinization in Christ, the church has taught disciplines that open Christ's followers to the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in their lives. These disciplines lead to a life that is opened and awakened to the transforming power of God's life, light and love.

Theosis Resources seeks to teach these transforming disciplines through a ministry of consulting, teaching, speaking and spiritual formation.
